General

  • Can we eat or get food on site?

    Share has a canteen (open all year round) and take-away facility (open during summer months only). Should you require catering for numbers, please indicate this on your booking form. Share also has a tuck shop on site for snacks.

  • Is there a minimum age limit?

    We work off a minimum age limit of 8 years old for the watersport activities such as dinghy sailing and kayaking; however it is really dependent on the size of the child. There are many arts, land based and leisure suite activities which younger groups and individuals can avail of.

  • What are the meal times?

    The standard meal times are 8-9 am for breakfast, 12-1pm for lunch, 5-6pm for dinner. Should your group have any special requests for meal times, please highlight this on your booking form or when speaking to the coordinator prior to your visit.

  • What equipment should we bring?

    A change of clothes and shoes, clothing that you are prepared to get wet, towel, warm clothing for winter and shorts, sun cream, hat and sunglasses for summer. Share will provide wetsuits; buoyancy aids and helmets where needed.

  • What is the ratio of Instructors to Children?

    Share operates under governing body guidelines for the particular sports. For example the sailing ratio is 1 instructor to 6 children in individual boats or 1 instructor to 9 children in 6 boats.

  • What time do group activities stop at?

    Depending on the nature of your booking, Share staff will work with groups up until 9pm. After which it is the responsibility of the group leader.

  • When can our group use the leisure suite?

    Groups that have highlighted that they wish to use the leisure suite may do so between 7.30pm and 9.30pm in max group numbers of 20.
