The Erne Canoe Rally is a not for profit - fun competitive canoeing/kayaking event open to all abilities and age groups.
The Erne Canoe Rally is a not for profit - fun competitive canoeing/kayaking event open to all abilities and age groups - dubbed the paddle against global warming! No experience is necessary and all entries are welcomed. A number of classes and special disciplines are available for teams of 3. The idea of the event is that all team members must choose a boat and compete in the same boat across all disciplines, a special fancy dress element in the theme of ‘comic book characters' will be scored at the Saturday evening disco. This is the perfect opportunity to pick up overall points!
Disciplines include:Long distance, Slalom, Moving Water Slalom, Sprint, Backwards, and Obstacle races. There will also be the opportunity for spectators to try it out free of charge during the Saturday and Sunday. Simply ring the number below to book.
The cost is £35 for adults and £20 for under 18's, registered disabled, senior citizens and students which includes event entry, prizes, event t-shirt, camping, saturday evening meal, fancy dress disco.
