Exciting Winter activity for the family
Share Discovery Village brings the long anticipated return of the only synthetic indoor ice rink in Fermanagh! Our Ice Rink was a massive success last year, with almost 9,000 people joining us for a skate. This year, we have gone bigger and better with the Synthetic Ice Rink and have got new additions to make your skating experience the best it can be.
Our enchanting Synthetic Ice Rink is set in the midst of a massive display of sparkling fairy lights. As soon as you enter through the doors, you are transported to a magical world where you can glide through the Synthetic Ice for the next hour.
Wheelchairs on our Synthetic Ice Rink
Our fully accessible, wheelchair friendly rink provides an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the festive fun, and as mentioned, the eco-friendly rink is indoors so no need to feel the chill from the winter wind. In addition, we have a brand new curling lane coming for 2022 so you can try your hand at a fun winter olympic sport and see if you can beat your friends to get closest to the target.
Skaters of all ages and abilities can enjoy the festive rink, so whether you’re a champion figure skater or a brand new first-timer you’re bound to have a great time on the ice.
Come and visit Santa’s grotto at Share Village on Ice
Share Village on Ice is a perfect solution to the question of what’s on for kids at Christmas 2022. From 18th November – 4th January 2023. Children’s ticket prices include your skating session on the Ice Rink, access to our bouncy castle, a go on the curling lane and up until the big day, letter writing to Santa! If you’re looking for a Santa Visit to Santa in his cozy North Pole Santa’s grotto, all under the same roof, so no need to travel far to post your Santa letter (not applicable to group bookings).
Plenty of time to get skating
Our Synthetic Ice Rink is open from 18th November until 4th January 2023, so there’s plenty of time to get some practice in over the winter season. The rink will be open from 10am to 8pm daily so whether you’re an early bird or a late riser there is a session for you at Share Village on Ice. Ticket prices are as follows:
- £15 for adults / children over 5* years
- £10 for children aged 5 and over
- £50 for a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children)
- £60 for a family of 5 (2 adults & 3 children)
- £70 for a family of 6 (2 adults & 4 children)
- £10 per person for group of 30 or more
- £12 per person group of 20 or more
*Please note that adults accompanying children over 5 years are not required to purchase a ticket unless they are taking part with their children
**under 5 years must be accompanied by a paying adult on the rink

Delicious refreshments available at the rink
When you’re finished on the ice, you can fill up with our delicious, freshly served food and hot drinks provided by the Village Cafe.
Maybe you’d like to sip a hot drink to recharge after the ice? It’ll be difficult to pick between having a latte, a cappuccino, a nice cup of tea or a sweet hot chocolate to finish off your skate session.
Or you might prefer to dine out and have one of our tasty meals during your visit – just check out our great menu here with a variety of choices. Top it all off with some cool Maud’s ice cream or choose between a red or blue slushee (or asked for a mixed one!) at our Synthetic Ice Rink reception.
Themed skating sessions at Share Village on Ice
Throughout the months of November & December, Share Village on Ice has themed skating sessions on Saturdays to add a little extra excitement to your skate. At 2pm each Saturday afternoon we have our Disney themed session, so come along dresses as your favourite character and have some fun listening to ‘Into the Unknown’ and ‘How far I’ll Go’ as you skate around with characters like Olaf, Mickey and Minnie!
The themed sessions planned are as follows:
- Saturday 19th November 7pm – 70s night
- Saturday 26th November 7pm – 80s night
- Saturday 3rd December 7pm – 90s night
- Saturday 10th December 7pm – Country Night
- Saturday 17th December 7pm – Christmas Jumper Night
In each session, there will be a prize for the best dressed so put on your best outfit and have some fun.
Weekly quiet sessions
On Sundays at 10am, we also have quiet sessions for anyone that prefers a peaceful skate on the rink.
