Share offers a wide range of Accredited Summer Schemes in Arts, Land and Watersports for 8-16 year olds during July and August including:
SWIM' N’ PLAY
DANCE + DRAMA
STREET CIRCUS + MAGIC SCHOOL
With different levels to choose from, the courses are attractive to all abilities from beginners to advanced. Water sports and swimming courses are RYA, BCU and ASA governing body accredited with participants receiving qualifications on completion of the course. Participants must bring their own packed lunch each day.
Share Summer Scheme provides a great opportunity for children to increase their informal education, enhance their National Record of Achievements Portfolio, meet new friends and most importantly have fun.
Many of the participants in the advanced section are returning participants on the summer scheme. In the ten years since it's inception, Share has welcomed over 1,000 participants in the summer schemes.
1st - 5th July 2013. Pedal Power! Learn about body positioning, gear usage, obstacles, see saws, track stands, wheel lifts, distributing weight, balance, pumping and drop offs. Try out a range of different tracks (on + off site).

15th - 19th July 2013. Like the look of all of the above, but can’t make a decision! Why not give them all a go! 22nd - 26th July. Learn to make your own musical instrument from Junk materials, form a band, practice, and record. Create your own music video and perform your masterpiece in front of an audience on the final day.
22nd - 26th July. Want to be a lifeguard? The RLSS Junior awards contain survival, rescue and sports skills as well as Life Support and water safety elements for people who have just learned to swim progressing to competent swimmers providing lifesaving tows.
29th July - 2nd August 2013. Improve your skills in both these sports. With these extra ranges of skills there are even more opportunities for fun and games. Participants should already hold BCU 1 Star Award or Paddlepower passport section completed
5th - 9th August 2013. Set up your board and rig correctly, enhance your stance on all points of sailing and introduce basic harness techniques in stronger winds. Now's the time to hook in and hang on!
5th - 9th August 2013. After this course, you have arrived: You can make your own choices afloat, manoeuvre at close quarters and trim your sails expertly. Participants should already hold RYA Youth Sailing Scheme Stage 2
12th – 16th August 2013. Become the next Steven Spielberg, write your own script, direct the actors, make and design your own costumes, green screen yourself into the location of your choice and edit the perfect film.
19th - 23rd August 2013. Hone your paddling skills on moving water. Participants will be taken to a local river to practice their skills further. Participants should already have their BCU 2 Star or Be working towards their Paddlepower Discovery Award
