Traditional Greenland Games
The Traditional Greenland Games at Share Discovery Village are returning from 17th-19th September 2027!
Activities are open to all, whether you are working on your first roll or honing your Greenland competition skills you will all gain and have some fun on the way.
What are the Greenland Games?
A unique event to Northern Ireland, the traditional Greenland Games allows paddlers of all levels to learn this unique style of paddling. The games will be held at Share Discovery Village from Friday 17th – Sunday 19th September 2027.
The weekend is an opportunity for those who have an interest in Greenland kayaking to share ideas, learn new skills and to hone their kayaking techniques. It will consist of coaching and testing new skills. There will be lots of fun competitions throughout the weekend. This unique paddling event is the only event of its kind happening in Ireland.

- Greenland Ropes Games / Gymnastics
- Harpoon Throwing
- Greenland Rolling Techniques
- Rolling session in Share Discovery Village pool (Friday evening
- Yoga workshop
- Socials in bar on Friday & Saturday evening
- Greenland themed meal on Saturday evening

- The official Greenland Games Competition will take place on Sunday 19th September.
