Here are some of our upcoming events.

Summer Adventure Camp - Monday 28th July - Friday 1st August

Share Holiday Village are running a new summer adventure camp for kids between the ages of 10 – 16. The multi activity adventure camp spaces are limited and offered on a first come first served basis. The camp runs from Monday 28th July - Friday 1st August and includes morning, afternoon and evening activities, food and accommodation. Duty Instructors will be on site providing 24 hr supervision. Share Summer Extravaganza - During May Bank Holidays, July and August 2008

The exciting and innovative summer activity programme available for visitors to Fermanagh at the Share Holiday Village, Lisnaskea.

Visitors may enjoy the thrills in a variety of land and water activities; one hour, two hour or even taster sessions in sailing, kayaking, canoeing and banana skiing or archery, climbing and pedal go karting.

FUN FOR ALL THE FAMILY – a wide range of combination packages are available so value for money is guaranteed.

The Thursday Club - Adult Skills Progression Courses - all Summer!

Second Course starts July 3rd and runs until July 31st - Some places still available.

Third Course Starts August 14th and runs until September 11th - Some places still available.

Share are starting a number of adult courses set to run every Thursday evening over the summer months. Starting as close to 5.30 pm as possible. Participants will work towards gaining an RYA/BCU skills progression qualification. Courses run for five weeks over 2 hours each week and cost £65 pp. To register your interest please fill in the booking form and return with a cheque for £65.

Brites Erne Canoe Rally - September 27th + 28th

The Erne Canoe Rally is a not for profit - fun competitive canoeing/kayaking event open to all abilities and age groups. In an effort to try and attract people to Lough Erne and visit the New Lough Erne Canoe Trail Share have decided to resurrect the highly successful event. Working in Partnership with the Canoe Association for Northern Ireland the event will be included in their national event plans and run to a very high standard attracting 200 or more paddlers from all over Northern and Southern Ireland. A number of classes and special disciplines are available for teams of 3. The idea of the event is that the teams must choose and compete in the same boat across all disciplines, a special fancy dress element in the theme of ‘super heroes’ will be scored at the Saturday evening disco. The cost is £35 for adults and £20 for under 18's and students which includes event entry, prizes, event t-shirt, camping, saturday evening meal, fancy dress disco. Waterways Ireland Summer Scheme 2008

Now in its second year, the highly successful Waterways Ireland Summer Scheme returns to attract new participants to Lough Erne. Last year 150 kids and their parents attended the awards evening at the end of August to receive their governing body award for skills progression in a range of disciplines. For less than the price of a babysitter, kids between the age of 7+16 can take part in a fun filled weeklong skills development course in either Sailing, Canoeing, Windusrfing or Swim and Play. Courses run throughout July and August. Simply fill in an application form and return it to Share ASAP as courses book up very quickly. Some places are still available on the intermediate and advanced courses.

 

Share Arts Summer Scheme 2008

Child’s Play Theatre School, now its third summer returns too teach you how to act, sing as well as make costumes and sets.  Dara Hand, will lead directing and costume making sessions while Ossia Musicians will lead the music and song writing. Cost for each Child’s Play session is £35 per head for first child and any other children from the same family are £20 each.

July 21 - 25   from10-3pm  Child’s Play Theatre School 

Aug 18 - 22    from 10-3pm  Childs Play Theatre School.

Rock School, will teach you everything about writing and performing rock music. But it has proved to be so popular that it is already booked out!  However if you fancied attending it and are disappointed, call Majella ASAP to express an interest in this workshop as Share may be able to set up a second week. The Rock School if it goes ahead will be £75 per person.

Waterways Ireland Disabled Sailing Day 25th July 2008

Accessible Sailing – new opportunities for people with disabilities on the Inland Waterways

Waterways Ireland through an ‘Accessible Sailing Programme’ is encouraging people with disabilities to get out sailing on the lakes on the Inland Waterways.

Waterways Ireland in partnership with Share Holiday Village is hosting a ‘Come and Try It’ Day at the centre in Lisnaskea on Friday the 25July.
